How your wedding day works with us

Every wedding has its own rhythm, and the plan is always yours. This is how a day usually unfolds when we film it.

Before the day

We meet at our studio near Perugia, by appointment, or by video call. Then we agree the timeline with your planner and photographer and, if needed, visit the venue first.

Getting ready

We start where your day starts: the last details, the dress, the people closest to you, filmed without getting in the way.

The ceremony

Civil, religious or symbolic, we film it discreetly, without getting in the way of the celebrant or your guests.

A few quiet minutes

Between the ceremony and dinner we take you away for a moment, while the light softens over the hills. No posing: just the two of you.

Into the evening

Dinner, speeches, the cake cutting and the first dances. Our coverage usually runs until the evening celebrations; other timings on request.

Our region

The Umbria we know by heart

From medieval Perugia to the rolling hills of Montefalco, from sunsets over Todi to the squares of Assisi, we work every day in one of Italy’s most beautiful regions, and it shows in our films. We know which courtyard stays in shade at noon, which terrace glows at sunset and where to take you for ten quiet minutes between the ceremony and dinner.

Umbria sits right next to Tuscany, with the same hill towns, vineyards and olive groves, often with fewer crowds. If your venue isn’t listed here, write to us anyway: if it’s in Umbria or nearby Tuscany and Lazio, we either know it already or will happily scout it for you.

Light and seasons

When to marry in Umbria, seen through a lens

Light is what a film is made of, and in Umbria it changes with the seasons. Late spring and September bring long evenings and a warm glow over the hills. In high summer the middle of the day is hot, so ceremonies are often planned for late afternoon, with dinner outdoors as the air cools. October brings the grape harvest and misty mornings in the valleys.

May, June and September are among the most requested months, at venues and town halls alike, so it pays to plan early. Whatever the month, the hour before sunset is the one we ask you to protect in your timeline: it is when the stone of the hill towns turns golden.

And if the weather changes, we keep filming. One of our couples wrote that, despite a day of changeable weather, their film “turned out absolutely perfect”.
