Their day
Giulia and Alessandro joined their lives on 10 June 2023 in Assisi, in the Romanesque church of San Pietro, and celebrated at Tenuta di San Masseo, in the green hills around the town. Their bond is a deep one, built on trust and shared values, and their wedding day marked the start of an adventure full of enthusiasm.
Their film holds Assisi, with the Basilica of Saint Francis in the background and a veil lifting in the wind, and the estate itself, bathed in the light of the hills. They chose Cinemarry so that the memories of that day would last, and could be shared.
The film cuts between her morning and his. Giulia looks into a mirror while a woman takes her picture on a phone; silver shoes wait on the windowsill, then come the off-the-shoulder lace gown and a toast with the women around her in bright dresses. A woman straightens Alessandro’s collar and he sprays on cologne by the window; a bottle is opened under a gazebo, then Alessandro leaves the house arm in arm with a woman, a little girl in a flower crown at their side.

From San Pietro to the squares of Assisi
At the church of San Pietro, Alessandro waits in the doorway between two large arrangements of white flowers and the stone lions of the portal. Giulia arrives in front of the façade with its three rose windows in a white vintage Beetle convertible, a bouquet of roses in her lap, under a sky heavy with cloud.
Inside, the nave is full of guests on their feet, applauding; the film moves in on the hands and their rings, and on Alessandro laughing and wiping his eyes beside Giulia. On the way out, rice beneath the portal. Then the town: the Lower Square of Saint Francis and its arcades, the striped paving as Alessandro walks towards Giulia, the wind catching her veil, the basilica behind her. From above, the drone finds them again in the Beetle, on a dirt track between the fields.

At the estate
An evening at San Masseo
At Tenuta di San Masseo the afternoon light is soft and grey, with low cloud on Mount Subasio: no harsh shadows, and the colours of the dresses stay rich. Guests raise their glasses to the camera, the couple cross the lawn with the bouquet held high, and the drone flies over the garden with its pool and avenue of cypresses.
As darkness falls, the Basilica of Saint Francis lights up on the hill beyond the olive trees. Beneath a great olive tree hung with lanterns, Giulia and Alessandro cut the cake; then the party under a ceiling of lights, the little girl in the flower crown taking the microphone, the DJ at the decks and the couple in the middle of their friends.
