We filmed Rune and Cecilia’s destination wedding here on 25 June 2022, for a couple who were living abroad. We also filmed Valerio and Maral’s wedding here.

The venue
A whole village for a day
With its ancient stone and picturesque corners, Borgo Colognola offers an authentic, romantic setting and a different space for every part of the day: the inner courtyard for an intimate ceremony, the panoramic terrace for dinner under the stars, the reception hall for the party. All around, well-kept gardens and views over the hills.
On film it’s a natural set: stone lanes for getting ready, olive groves for portraits, and in the evening the lights of the village coming on one by one.
