Their day

Giada and Marco were married in Perugia, at the Tempio di Sant’Angelo, the round church at the top of Corso Garibaldi, and celebrated at Villa Torranca, in the hills between Perugia and Assisi. The film opens from above, over the stone city and the cypresses around the church, and follows the day with a light touch: Giada laughing as she gets ready, the exit from the church to applause, stone steps taken hand in hand.

Then a red and white vintage van standing in the fields, the vineyards at sunset, Giada running along a track in her long gown. In the evening, the party at Villa Torranca, among stone-arched rooms and the lit garden, and the cake cutting between fountains of light.
