Their day

Cathrin and Philip chose Castello di Rosciano, in the hills of Torgiano, for their wedding. The film opens from above, over the castle surrounded by woods and olive groves, then moves within its stone walls: the avenue, the courtyard, the terrace looking out over the valley.

The ceremony is held outdoors, with the hills and a hilltop village behind: vows read into the microphone, glances between them, guests all around. Then everyone together at the long table for a group photo, the cake cutting between fountains of light and the evening toasts beneath strings of lights.
