Their day

Andrew and Emily were married at Tenuta di Casa Bruciata, in Umbertide, among the woods and hills of Umbria. From above, the estate sits deep in the green; then the film steps into the bride’s morning: her friends in pyjamas on a balcony overlooking the valley, waving and laughing, a bouquet of bright flowers. The couple cross the lawn between the stone buildings, hand in hand, surrounded by their guests.

The ceremony takes place outdoors, on a terrace with a wooden railing, beneath an arch of pink, yellow and orange flowers with the hills on the horizon. Vows read into the microphone, applause, and an exit under a shower of confetti. Then dinner beneath the pergola, with a moving speech from the bride’s father, a jazz band among the olive trees, harp and violin. In the evening the first dance under the lights, then the bride takes over the decks and DJs her own party, friends all around her; fireworks close the night.
