Their day
Doaa and Matteo were married at La Villa di Passignano, on the shores of Lake Trasimeno. The teaser opens on a shadow resting on a patterned rug, caught in a shaft of light; then the lake, with Passignano and its houses by the water, and straight into a celebration full of colour.
In less than a minute: traditional gowns embroidered in gold, henna on the bride’s hands, a crown and veil, drums and applause, the bride lifted high by her guests on a litter, and the couple embracing in the afternoon sun among the trees of the garden.
Doaa wears several gowns in the teaser, each with its own scene: white and gold for the procession across the lawn, purple and gold at the foot of the carved staircase, green for the moment of the veil, blue among the dancing guests. Matteo moves from a grey suit and black cape to a white robe trimmed in red, and someone settles a red cap on his head.

The villa on the lake
From the drone, Passignano looks exactly as it is: a village pressed between the hills and the water, its lakefront and pier in the foreground. The villa enters the film one detail at a time: windows behind wrought-iron grilles in swirling patterns, the carved white staircase with the bride at its foot, dark green walls and crystal chandeliers, palms in pots. Outside, the façade with its arched windows among cypresses and pines, and a balustrade silhouetted against the low sun, a palm and a tall tree behind it.

From details to celebration
A teaser calls for clear choices: few shots, each with a precise job. Here the story moves from details to shared gestures. First the close-ups: the gold crown and necklaces resting on a wooden table, henna being drawn along the fingers, the green veil edged in gold lowered over the bride’s face. Then the movement: the procession across the lawn, with men in white carrying palm fronds, the blue drums, tea poured from a height into glasses on a gilded tray, guests raising their phones and the bride lifted above their heads.
In the middle there is a quieter moment: Doaa and Matteo holding each other among the trees, in warm sunlight. Then the party picks up again, and the teaser ends on Doaa, in blue, clapping among her guests.
